Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Security Practitioners
This course provides an understanding of the security risks ICS currently face and explains what can be to reduce these risks. In addition, the course provides an in-depth understanding of the security incident management process. By the end of the course you will know:

This course is intended for either IT or OT practitioners working in ICS environments. This course is also suited to individuals with a background in other disciplines such as cyber security who may require an understanding of the challenges in securing an ICS environment from both an IT and an OT perspective.
There are no prerequisites for this course and no laptop is required. A reference handbook and supporting material will be supplied to each attendee.
The course is divided into 4 sessions:
Session 1 - Background
Session 2 - Securing ICS
Session 3 - Security Incident Management
Session 4 - Incident Exercise
This course is a Foundation level training course and is designed to provide both IT and OT staff with a view of the 'other side of the firewall'. As a next step in the learning map, students should consider more advanced training such as the HS and TC 'Securing ICS - Becoming a Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional' GICSP course leading to the GICSP certification.
Continuous Professional Education credits
(ISC)2 and ISACA credential holders can receive 14 CPE credit for attending the course. Individuals are responsible for entering accurate membership or ID numbers upon registration to ensure relevant details are included on CPE certificates.
